New trustees selected for North Coast-Region 2
Out Voice, Ohio's two-year-old grassroots educational, social action, and lobbying group for the lesbian-gay-bisexual community, held its regional membership caucus on Sunday, March 13 at the LesbianGay Community
Center in Cleve-
land.
Board Chair Glorianne Leck of Youngstown and Trustees
Vince Morvatz,
The caucus discussed current education needs (related to the probable radical right wing anti-gay initiative) within our community and also in the greater community that will vote on such initiatives. The caucus agreed all members should

Paul Schwitzgebel, and Rick Kirk guided local members and guests in creating the Out Voice Region 2 organization. Region 2 is comprised of Lorain, Medina, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, and Ashtabula counties. Four new trustees were interviewed and then elected or selected to represent this area on the statewide board. In a special action, current trustees selected Deidre Wells of Oberlin College to be presented to the Out Voice board for appointment as trusteeat-large representing lesbian-gay-bisexual students of color. Interviewed and elected to the board were Jon Bunner, Joan Burda, and Bill Henderson.
In addition to serving on the Out Voice board, the new trustees will guide local Out Voice members in creating and conducting educational programs, creating a social action/media response network, reaching out to allies, and coordinating efforts with existing lesbian-gay-bisexual interest groups.

'Ten Plagues' expanded to thirty in our Seder
by Paul Zeitzew
Chevrei Tikva has been absent from this space for some time. Not that we had nothing to say. Actually, so much was going on that no one had
time. Well, we are back with great happenings for the spring season (if the leaves ever turn green again in Cleveland)! On Friday evening, March
18, Rabbi Billy and Cantor Ellen Dreskin came back, by popular demand, to lead us in prayer and song. Much is looked forward to as this couple, from Fairmount Temple, have been good friends to CT and charmed us into good spirituality a few years ago. The annual second night Passover Seder will be at Jayson's Pewter Mug in Beachwood on Sunday, March 27. The Hagada

(prayerbook) that we use is modern and "with it" for today's times. The traditional "Ten Plagues" that are recited, include in our service 30 plagues! We do the traditional ones that are recounted in the Book of

Exodus, but we have ten more against humankind today and an additional ten for crimes against women. Good food, good wine, or grape juice, good camaraderie. This will be our tenth annual Seder.

April and May will include the annual Yom Hoshoa Shabbat (Holocaust remembrance), Israel independence Day with food, wine, song, service and a guest speaker. Israeli dancing, maybe. Stay tuned to the next issue of the Chronicle for more news. As always, more information from the CTline, 932-5551.
